A reputable courier and delivery company located in Sinza, Dar es Salaam, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Supervisor to join their full-time team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily logistics and courier operations, ensuring that all deliveries are executed efficiently and on schedule. The position involves leading and mentoring a team of over 10 individuals, requiring strong leadership skills and the ability to manage complex schedules. The Operations Supervisor will be expected to optimize delivery routes, handle operational troubleshooting, and ensure all team members adhere to safety and performance standards. Key Requirements
1-2 years of professional experience in the Courier or Delivery industry
Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 10 or more people
Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle high-volume operations
Excellent communication skills in English and Swahili
Deep understanding of logistics, dispatching, and route planning
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to work under pressure and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
High level of integrity and professional accountability
A degree or diploma in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
Familiarity with the geography of Sinza and the wider Dar es Salaam area
