ACCOUNTANT @ CGESAPCO
cgesapco is currently seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join our engineering firm based in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s comprehensive accounting operations, ensuring precise financial reporting, and maintaining strict compliance with all statutory financial requirements. You will play a pivotal role in supporting our management team with strategic financial decision-making and ensuring the integrity of our financial records.
The ideal candidate will be expected to manage day-to-day financial transactions, prepare monthly and annual financial statements, and coordinate with internal and external auditors. As we are an engineering-focused organization, familiarity with project-based accounting and construction industry regulations will be highly regarded to ensure the successful financial performance of our various projects.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy.
CPA (T), ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting.
At least 1 year of experience in a construction company.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and taxation standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and professional integrity.
