SENIOR FASHION DESIGNER @ CENTRAL RETAIL
Central Retail is searching for a Senior Fashion Designer to elevate our fashion brands and deliver trend-setting designs for our customers. You will lead the creative design process, from inspiration and mood boards to technical drawings and final sample approvals. Your expertise will help define the aesthetic direction of our seasonal collections, ensuring they reflect current global trends while remaining commercially viable for our local market.
As a senior leader in the design department, you will also mentor junior designers and collaborate with production teams to ensure design integrity throughout the manufacturing process. You will work closely with buyers and category managers to align your creative vision with business goals and customer preferences. Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related creative field.
At least 7 years of professional experience in fashion design for retail.
High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop.
A strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful commercial designs.
Extensive knowledge of garment construction, pattern making, and textiles.
Proven ability to translate high-level trends into wearable, sellable apparel.
Experience leading design projects and mentoring junior design staff.
Excellent technical drawing skills and attention to detail in tech packs.
Strong understanding of the end-to-end garment production process.
Fluency in English for communicating with international vendors and teams.
