LEGAL OFFICER (1 POSITION) @ CD HORIZON
CD HORIZON is looking for a dedicated Legal Officer to support its growing operations in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The selected candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the company's adherence to all relevant legal and regulatory frameworks. Key responsibilities include providing essential legal advice and support across various departments, diligently reviewing and drafting contracts, and managing all critical legal documentation. The Legal Officer will also be instrumental in mitigating legal risks and fostering a culture of compliance within the organization. This position requires a professional with a strong ethical compass and a thorough understanding of legal practices relevant to an international company operating in Africa. Key Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB)
Minimum 4 years' experience in legal practice
Must possess a valid Advocate License
Strong understanding of corporate law and regulatory compliance
Ability to provide comprehensive legal support and advice to internal stakeholders
Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of contracts
Proficiency in handling and managing legal documentation and records
Excellent analytical and legal research skills
High level of integrity, professional ethics, and confidentiality
Ability to identify and advise on potential legal risks and strategies
