The company is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in Static Equipment for a fixed-term contract of 18 months in Abu Dhabi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed mechanical datasheets, conducting comprehensive technical bid evaluations of vendor offers, and reviewing vendor documentation for a wide range of static equipment. This role requires deep knowledge of international design standards such as ASME, TEMA, API, EN, and PED. Candidates should have a proven track record in handling variety of equipment and static packages, including pressure vessels and air-cooled heat exchangers. Excellent vendor management skills and the ability to liaise with engineering teams to resolve technical matters and ensure timely project completion are essential.

Key Requirements
Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
Must have between 15 to 20 years of extensive experience in Oil & Gas construction projects.
Demonstrated experience working within the EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) sector.
Proven background in chemical and petrochemical project environments.
In-depth knowledge of international codes and design standards including ASME, TEMA, and API.
Familiarity with EN and PED standards for mechanical equipment design.
Experience in preparing detailed mechanical datasheets for various static equipment.
Skilled in conducting technical bid evaluations of vendor offers and proposals.
Proficient in reviewing vendor documentation for pressure vessels and air-cooled heat exchangers.
Expertise in managing enclosed ground flare packages and other static packages.
Strong vendor management skills to resolve technical subjects efficiently.
Ability to liaise with end-user engineering teams to resolve complex technical matters.
Capacity to coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely completion of project milestones.
Preferred experience working specifically on ADNOC Projects.
Availability to join the project within a 2-3 week notice period.
