SAMPLING INSPECTOR (MINING & MINERALS) @ CBM360TIV
As part of our expanding team in Tanzania, CBM360TIV is looking for a Sampling Inspector to support our Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project. Sampling is a foundational part of our quality assurance process, and we require a professional who understands the technical nuances of extracting representative samples from large mineral deposits. Your work will directly influence the accuracy of mineral assessments and valuation.
The Sampling Inspector will operate in various field conditions, managing the chain of custody for all samples to ensure they remain uncontaminated and representative of the source material. Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in mining and mineral operations
Proven project exposure in Africa and/or South America
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical disciplines
Strong knowledge of inspection, sampling, testing, and reporting standards
Proficiency in English
Mastery of mineral sampling techniques and recognized industry methodology
Experience in managing sample custody chains to prevent external contamination
Proficiency in using professional sampling tools like augers or probes
Ability to work in remote and challenging field conditions for extended periods
Strong documentation skills for accurate sample tracking and field logging
