SAMPLING INSPECTOR (MINING & MINERALS) @ CBM360TIV
As a Sampling Inspector at CBM360TIV, you will play a vital role in our Mineral Loss Control Project in Tanzania. Your primary responsibility will be the collection and preparation of representative mineral samples for laboratory analysis. Accuracy in sampling is paramount to the success of our quality control efforts, and you will ensure that all procedures align with industry best practices and specific project standards.
You will work in various field locations across Tanzania, overseeing the sampling process from the source to the laboratory. This role involves rigorous documentation and the management of sample security to prevent tampering or contamination. We are looking for a hands-on professional with a strong technical background who can thrive in a dynamic mining environment and deliver consistent results.

Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in mining and mineral operations
Proven project exposure in Africa and/or South America
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical disciplines
Strong knowledge of inspection, sampling, testing, and reporting standards
Proficiency in English
Proficiency in various manual and automated mineral sampling techniques
Understanding of statistical sampling methods for large mineral volumes
Experience in maintaining sample integrity and a strict chain of custody
Ability to train and supervise junior sampling staff on-site
Familiarity with laboratory preparation requirements for diverse mineral samples
