SAMPLING INSPECTOR @ CBM360TIV
We are recruiting for the position of Sampling Inspector for our Kenyan-based Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project. The Sampling Inspector is responsible for the collection and preparation of mineral samples for laboratory analysis, ensuring that they are representative of the larger bulk and handled according to strict scientific protocols. This role is essential for the accuracy of quality assessments and the overall success of the loss control program. The work will involve operating specialized sampling equipment and maintaining rigorous standards of cleanliness and documentation to prevent contamination. Based in Kenya, the inspector will visit various extraction and processing sites to conduct sampling procedures. The role requires a high degree of technical skill and a disciplined approach to field work. Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in Mining & Mineral operations.
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical Engineering.
Experience in Africa and/or South America projects.
Strong field inspection, sampling, and testing knowledge.
French language proficiency is preferred.
Mastery of mineral sampling techniques and standards.
Knowledge of laboratory preparation and testing procedures.
Ability to operate and maintain sampling equipment.
Highly detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.
Experience in following strict health and safety protocols.
