CBM360TIV is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor specializing in Mining & Minerals to join our team in Tanzania. This role involves managing the financial aspects of our Mineral Loss Control Project, including cost estimation, budget monitoring, and contract management. You will work closely with technical teams to provide accurate valuations and ensure that project resources are used efficiently to maximize value.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the mining sector, specifically within Africa or South America. You will be responsible for preparing tender documents, analyzing project costs, and conducting physical measurements of mineral quantities on site. This role requires a combination of office-based analysis and site visits to various Tanzanian mining operations to verify progress and expenditures.

Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in mining and mineral operations
Proven project exposure in Africa and/or South America
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical disciplines
Strong knowledge of inspection, sampling, testing, and reporting standards
Proficiency in English
Expertise in cost estimation and budget management for mining projects
Experience in contract administration and procurement processes
Ability to perform volumetric calculations for large mineral stockpiles
Proficiency in quantity surveying software and advanced Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of valuation methods for mineral assets and project infrastructure
