QUANTITY SURVEYOR (MINING & MINERALS) @ CBM360TIV
CBM360TIV is looking for a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Tanzania. You will be responsible for the accurate measurement and valuation of mineral resources and project-related costs. Your role is vital for financial loss control, as you will monitor material volumes and provide detailed cost analysis to ensure project budgets and mineral valuations remain accurate.
You will work closely with mining engineers and project managers to reconcile physical measurements with financial records. This position requires a high degree of mathematical accuracy and a deep understanding of the mining industry's unique cost structures. Your reports will provide the financial clarity needed to drive project decisions and maintain the economic viability of the mineral loss control initiatives.

Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the mining sector.
Extensive experience with mining projects in Africa or South America.
Relevant Degree in Quantity Surveying or a Technical/Engineering discipline.
Expertise in measurement, valuation, and reporting standards.
Strong English communication skills for professional reporting.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and specialized surveying software.
Ability to calculate volumes and densities of various mineral types.
Experience in cost-to-complete and budget variance analysis.
Strong understanding of mining contracts and procurement.
Capability to perform stockpile measurements and reconcile inventories.
