QUANTITY SURVEYOR @ CBM360TIV
CBM360TIV is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor for our Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Kenya. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of the project, specifically focused on the measurement and valuation of mineral quantities. This role involves performing detailed audits, managing project costs, and ensuring that mineral loss is minimized through accurate quantitative analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and field teams to provide essential data for financial reporting and operational planning. This position is based in Kenya and requires a professional with a strong background in mining or large-scale construction projects. The Quantity Surveyor will be instrumental in maintaining the project's financial health and ensuring that all resources are accounted for correctly. Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in Mining & Mineral operations.
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical Engineering.
Experience in Africa and/or South America projects.
Strong field inspection, sampling, and testing knowledge.
French language proficiency is preferred.
Extensive experience in quantity surveying within the mining sector.
Proficiency in cost estimation and budgetary control.
Advanced mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to conduct field measurements and site audits.
Knowledge of contract law and mineral procurement processes.
