MINERALS INSPECTOR (MINING & MINERALS) @ CBM360TIV
We are seeking a dedicated Minerals Inspector to join our Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Tanzania. This role is vital for CBM360TIV as we expand our quality assurance capabilities in the region. The successful candidate will perform field inspections to verify the type, quality, and quantity of minerals being handled, ensuring that all data is accurately captured for regulatory and commercial purposes.
The Minerals Inspector will be tasked with identifying various mineral compositions and monitoring the logistics chain to prevent loss or contamination. Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in mining and mineral operations
Proven project exposure in Africa and/or South America
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical disciplines
Strong knowledge of inspection, sampling, testing, and reporting standards
Proficiency in English
Expertise in mineral identification and classification techniques
Familiarity with the logistics and transport of heavy minerals
Experience in weight and volume verification for bulk mineral cargo
Knowledge of ISO standards related to mineral inspection and verification
Excellent observational skills and attention to detail in field conditions
