MINERALS INSPECTOR @ CBM360TIV
We are seeking a dedicated Minerals Inspector to join our Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Kenya. This role involves the meticulous examination of mineral products to verify quality, quantity, and compliance with project specifications. The inspector will play a key role in the oversight of mineral extraction and processing activities, ensuring that all operations align with the project's goals of minimizing loss and maximizing resource value. The position requires frequent travel to mining sites within Kenya to perform on-site inspections and data verification. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mineralogy and field operations, with a proven track record of maintaining high standards in challenging environments. As part of the CBM360TIV team, you will be at the forefront of mineral inspection technology and practices, contributing to the success of a major regional project. The role provides an opportunity to work with international experts and gain significant experience in the African mining industry.
Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in Mining & Mineral operations.
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical Engineering.
Experience in Africa and/or South America projects.
Strong field inspection, sampling, and testing knowledge.
French language proficiency is preferred.
Proficiency in identifying and grading various mineral types.
Experience in conducting thorough site audits.
Advanced understanding of mineral extraction processes.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong physical stamina for frequent field-based activities.
