CBM360TIV is currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lubrication Engineer to join our team in Geita, Tanzania. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting critical mining operations by ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of heavy machinery through advanced lubrication management. You will develop and implement comprehensive lubrication programs, conduct in-depth lubricant analysis, and oversee condition monitoring to prevent equipment failure and maximize operational efficiency. The position requires a proactive approach to equipment reliability and a deep understanding of lubrication systems within a mining context.
The ideal candidate will possess a background in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mining Engineering and have several years of experience within the mining or heavy industry sector. Beyond technical troubleshooting, you will collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams to integrate reliability-centered maintenance practices. Key Requirements
Degree or diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Mining Engineering
3–5 years experience in lubrication or maintenance engineering
Strong mining or heavy industry background preferred
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting
Proficiency in lubricant analysis and performance monitoring
Expertise in preventive and predictive maintenance strategies
Knowledge of lubrication systems and equipment reliability
Ability to maintain comprehensive maintenance and inspection records
Strong collaboration skills to work with maintenance and engineering teams
Capacity to develop and implement lubrication programs from scratch
