CBM360TIV invites applications for the position of Export Control Inspector for our ongoing project in Tanzania. This role is critical in ensuring that all mineral exports comply with national laws and international trade regulations. You will be responsible for inspecting shipments, verifying documentation, and ensuring that the quantity and quality of minerals match the declared specifications before export from various ports.
The position requires a professional who can navigate complex regulatory environments and maintain high standards of accountability. You will act as a liaison between the project and various government agencies in Tanzania, ensuring a smooth and compliant export process. The candidate must be willing to travel to export hubs and mining sites as required by project needs to perform on-site verification.

Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in mining and mineral operations
Proven project exposure in Africa and/or South America
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical disciplines
Strong knowledge of inspection, sampling, testing, and reporting standards
Proficiency in English
Deep understanding of international trade laws and export protocols
Extensive experience in verifying export documentation and cargo manifests
Working knowledge of customs regulations related specifically to mineral exports
Ability to coordinate effectively with port authorities and logistics providers
Strong skills in risk assessment and fraud detection in mineral trading
