EXPORT CONTROL INSPECTOR @ CBM360TIV
CBM360TIV is looking for an Export Control Inspector to manage and oversee the export procedures for our Mining & Mineral Loss Control Project in Kenya. The primary focus of this role is to ensure that all mineral exports are documented correctly, meet regulatory requirements, and are handled in a manner that prevents loss or unauthorized diversion. This position involves close coordination with logistics teams and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless and compliant mineral transport. The inspector will be responsible for verifying shipping documents, inspecting cargo before dispatch, and maintaining detailed records of all transactions. Operating out of Kenya, the role requires a deep understanding of both local and international export laws and the technical aspects of mineral logistics. The successful candidate will be a critical link in the supply chain, ensuring that the project's outputs reach their destinations securely and efficiently. Key Requirements
5–10 years of experience in Mining & Mineral operations.
Diploma or Degree in Mining, Mechanical, or Technical Engineering.
Experience in Africa and/or South America projects.
Strong field inspection, sampling, and testing knowledge.
French language proficiency is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of international trade and export regulations.
Experience in mineral logistics and supply chain security.
Attention to detail for auditing shipping and customs documents.
Ability to manage cross-border compliance issues.
Strong communication skills for interacting with regulatory authorities.
