Casa Mikoko is a new boutique hotel destination located in Paje, Zanzibar. We are currently seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our foundational technical support team during our pre-opening phase. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the physical environment and maintenance standards of our luxury property.
The successful candidate will be responsible for woodwork installation, maintenance, repairs, and general technical support across the hotel premises. You will work closely with the management team to ensure all structural and aesthetic elements meet our high boutique standards. Applicants must demonstrate technical proficiency and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Requirements
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position
Relevant vocational qualification in carpentry or joinery
Strong communication and organizational skills
Professional attitude and excellent personal presentation
Attention to detail and ability to work in a multicultural environment
Team spirit, flexibility, and commitment to service excellence
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications
Knowledge of safety procedures in construction and maintenance
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Fluent in English and Swahili is preferred
