Career Options Africa Group is seeking a professional Driver to facilitate transportation and logistics within Uganda. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating company vehicles and handling equipment to meet business demands. This role requires a focus on safety, efficiency, and reliability in all driving tasks to ensure organizational goals are met. Candidates must ensure that vehicles are kept in good technical condition and that all driving licenses and vehicle permits are valid. The position involves following strict schedules and routes to optimize delivery and transport operations. Applicants should have a clean driving record and a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance to prevent operational delays.
Key Requirements
Must possess a valid Class E driving license.
At least 2 years of proven experience as a professional driver.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Completion of Form Four Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles for official assignments.
Skill in operating handling equipment to support business operations.
Commitment to checking daily technical conditions of the assigned vehicle.
Responsibility for ensuring all vehicle documents are up to date.
Strict adherence to traffic safety regulations and efficient driving practices.
Ability to follow designated routes and time schedules accurately.
