Career Options Africa Group is looking for a professional Driver to join our team in Tanzania. This role is central to our logistical operations, requiring the transport of personnel and equipment for official company business. The driver must ensure a high level of safety and reliability, representing the company with excellence during every assignment. A gross salary of 1,400,000 Tsh is offered for this position. Responsibilities include conducting daily vehicle checks, maintaining valid licenses and documentation, and performing basic maintenance to prevent downtime. The candidate will also operate handling equipment as needed and must be diligent in following prescribed routes and timelines. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated driver to work with a leading pan-African human resource consultancy within the Tanzania region.
Key Requirements
Must possess a valid Class E driving license.
At least 2 years of proven experience as a professional driver.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
Completion of Form Four Certificate of Secondary Education or equivalent.
Ability to safely operate company vehicles for official assignments.
Skill in operating handling equipment to support business operations.
Commitment to checking daily technical conditions of the assigned vehicle.
Responsibility for ensuring all vehicle documents are up to date.
Strict adherence to traffic safety regulations and efficient driving practices.
Ability to follow designated routes and time schedules accurately.
