SENIOR ACCOUNTANT – FINANCE @ CAREER MANAGEMENT CENTRE
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a performance-driven team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, cashflow management, and internal controls within a fast-paced environment. Key duties include preparing monthly management accounts, performing balance sheet reconciliations in SAP ERP, and ensuring full compliance with statutory obligations such as VAT, PAYE, NSSF, and IFRS standards. The salary for this position is TSh 2,500,000 – 3,000,000 per month.
Beyond technical accounting, the role involves monitoring receivables, billing, and revenue tracking while overseeing supplier invoice verification and departmental budgets. The Senior Accountant will provide vital financial insights through variance analysis and support cost optimization initiatives. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree and a professional certification (CPA/ACCA), along with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in a structured finance environment. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
3–5 years of professional experience in a structured finance or accounting environment.
Strong proficiency in using ERP systems, with a preference for SAP experience.
Solid understanding of financial reporting standards (IFRS) and internal controls.
Demonstrated analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Commercial mindset with the ability to support operational and financial decisions.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially advanced Excel for financial modeling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for team collaboration.
Proven ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
