CAMCO Equipment Tanzania is seeking a dedicated and skilled Technician to join their technical department. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various mechanical equipment and heavy machinery handled by the company. The ideal candidate will ensure that all equipment functions at peak performance levels while maintaining strict adherence to safety standards and operational protocols.
As a Technician, you will be expected to utilize your technical expertise to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues and provide effective solutions. The role involves working both independently and as part of a larger technical team to meet service deadlines and customer expectations. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate service records and reporting technical findings to the management team to facilitate continuous improvement in equipment reliability.

Key Requirements
Must possess a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems and heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
Strong analytical skills to diagnose mechanical failures and determine root causes.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Swahili to interact with team members and clients.
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety regulations.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
High level of physical fitness and manual dexterity required for mechanical work.
Willingness to undergo continuous professional training on new equipment models.
Strong attention to detail in performing routine maintenance and quality checks.
