The Senior Accounts Payable Accountant is responsible for managing creditor accounts, processing overhead expenses, and overseeing bank and forex reporting. This role demands high accuracy in verifying invoices and ensuring that all financial transactions are executed in strict accordance with relevant tax laws and corporate guidelines.
Key duties include the reconciliation of creditor statements, managing daily invoice registration, and resolving payment-related queries. The candidate will also be tasked with preparing forex reports, loading system payments, and issuing SWIFT confirmations, ensuring that all financial activities contribute to the smooth operation of the finance department.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 4 years of experience in an accounting environment
Experience in a medium-sized international company preferred
Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite
Proven expertise in SAP accounting software
Strong understanding of tax compliance and WHT deductions
Exceptional reconciliation and payment processing skills
Basic IFRS/SARS compliance knowledge
High level of numerical accuracy and analytical mindset
Fluent written and verbal English communication
