ACCOUNTANT @ C. STEINWEG BRIDGE TANZANIA LTD
The Accountant will handle core accounting and finance functions, including month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, journal management, and financial reporting. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant to ensure compliance with both statutory and internal company standards.
In addition to daily accounting tasks, the role involves processing shipping file closure journals, investigating variances, and reviewing cost center allocations. The individual will be expected to maintain meticulous records and provide support to clients, suppliers, and internal team members while adhering to strict SHEQ requirements and corporate policies.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting department
High computer literacy with MS Office proficiency
Hands-on SAP accounting software experience
Strong bank and balance sheet reconciliation skills
Basic knowledge of IFRS/SARS compliance
Excellent numerical and analytical capabilities
Fluent written and verbal English communication
Strong attention to detail and ability to investigate variances
Knowledge of SHEQ requirements and corporate governance
