We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our team, specifically supporting a client in the Medical Equipment industry. This position involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring full compliance with local financial regulations and tax laws.
Candidates will be tasked with preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and performing reconciliations essential to the medical equipment supply chain operations. The ideal professional will be based in Dar es Salaam and possess strong integrity and a rigorous approach to financial management, ensuring the fiscal health of the client’s medical supply operations.

Key Requirements
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent preferred.
Proven experience in accounting, ideally within a medical or supply chain firm.
Deep knowledge of IFRS and local Tanzanian tax laws.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks or Tally.
Strong analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
Ability to produce accurate financial statements.
Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental reporting.
Sound understanding of inventory valuation and cost management.
Ability to work independently and meet strict fiscal deadlines.
