Burjeel Medical City in Abu Dhabi is seeking a highly skilled Consultant Neurologist specializing in Epileptology to join the Burjeel Neuroscience Institute. This role involves working within a world-class, integrated neuroscience ecosystem dedicated to providing high-level care for patients with complex neurological conditions. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the diagnosis and management of complex epilepsy cases, particularly refractory epilepsy, utilizing state-of-the-art facilities including the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and advanced neuroimaging technologies. Key Requirements
Medical degree from a recognized institution with a specialization in Neurology.
Advanced fellowship training specifically in Epileptology.
Proven expertise in the diagnosis and management of complex epilepsy cases.
Demonstrated experience in treating patients with refractory epilepsy.
Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting data from an Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
Experience with advanced neuroimaging techniques related to neuroscience.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary neuroscience team.
Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered care and clinical standards.
Eligibility for a Consultant license from the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi.
Strong interest in clinical research and innovation within the field of neurology.
