Our client, a global leader in the distribution of brand new, OEM certified pre-owned (CPO), and graded mobile devices, memory products, and gaming devices, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai. This role involves comprehensive financial management, from preparing detailed financial statements to ensuring the accuracy of all accounting entries within the general ledger. The candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes and performing complex bank reconciliations. The salary offered for this position ranges from AED 10,000 to 12,000 per month, plus annual benefits.
The Senior Accountant will also be responsible for month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring strict compliance with local regulations and international accounting standards such as IFRS. Key contributions will include assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, as well as monitoring cash flow and financial performance. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with auditors and support audit processes to maintain transparency and integrity in financial reporting. Candidates must be currently based in the UAE to be considered for this opportunity.

Key Requirements
Qualified CA or CA Inter professional.
Possess 4-5 years of solid experience specifically as a Senior Accountant.
Proficiency in preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Expertise in managing the general ledger and ensuring the accuracy of all accounting entries.
Strong experience in overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Ability to perform meticulous bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Proven experience in handling month-end and year-end closing activities.
Thorough knowledge of local UAE regulations and international accounting standards like IFRS.
Competency in assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and overall financial planning.
Ability to monitor cash flow and evaluate financial performance indicators.
Must be currently located in the United Arab Emirates.
