Buildmart Limited is seeking a dedicated and proactive Billing Specialist to join the Accounts Department in Arusha. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of the company's financial operations, specifically within the HORECA and FMCG sectors. The Billing Specialist will oversee the end-to-end billing process, generating accurate customer invoices and processing credit notes while serving as a primary contact for billing-related inquiries from clients.
The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations by reconciling invoices daily with the TRA Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) system. Beyond technical billing tasks, the role involves maintaining organized records across multiple platforms, including QuickBooks, Odoo, and Google Sheets. We are looking for a meticulous professional who can collaborate effectively with internal teams and maintain high standards of ethical conduct and confidentiality in Arusha, Tanzania.

Key Requirements
Manage the end-to-end billing process using the company’s accounting system (HQ).
Generate and finalize accurate customer invoices based on sales orders.
Process and issue credit notes for approved returns or billing adjustments.
Conduct daily reconciliation of invoices with the TRA Electronic Fiscal Device (EFD) system.
Ensure 100% compliance with Tanzanian tax regulations and reporting.
Enter billing data accurately into QuickBooks, Odoo, and other company systems.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date billing records and Google Sheets.
Minimum 3+ years of experience in billing, accounting, or a related field.
Proficiency in accounting systems such as QuickBooks and Odoo.
Strong understanding of TRA systems and tax compliance procedures.
