We are currently hiring an Instrument Technician for an offshore role in the UAE. This position requires a skilled professional to handle the installation, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation systems on offshore platforms. You will be part of a dedicated team ensuring the reliability and safety of control systems in a challenging maritime environment.
This role demands technical expertise and a strict adherence to safety standards. You will perform routine inspections, calibrate instruments, and troubleshoot system failures to minimize downtime. Key Requirements
Technical diploma or certification in Instrumentation or Electronics.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in offshore instrumentation maintenance.
Valid offshore survival and safety certifications (e.g., BOSIET, FOET).
Expertise in calibrating control valves, transmitters, and sensors.
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs and loop diagrams.
Hands-on experience with PLC and DCS systems in an offshore setting.
Strong commitment to offshore health and safety regulations.
Ability to troubleshoot field instrumentation issues independently.
Willingness to work on rotation schedules in an offshore environment.
Physical fitness and ability to work in remote maritime locations.
