BACKEND LEAD @ BRIHATIS GLOBAL
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Lead to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of enterprise-grade systems, focusing on microservices and distributed architectures. As a leader, you will guide technical teams through complex architectural decisions, ensuring the delivery of scalable, secure, and efficient backend solutions. This is an onsite position based in Dubai, and we are looking for candidates who are currently residing in the UAE and can join immediately.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in the industry, with a deep mastery of Java 17+ and the Spring Boot framework, including Spring Security. You will work extensively with Kafka for event-driven systems and manage diverse database environments across SQL and NoSQL technologies. Experience with modern DevOps tools such as Docker and Kubernetes is required to manage containerized deployments. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of system design and driving innovation within our development lifecycle.

Key Requirements
Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in enterprise-grade system design.
Advanced expertise in Java 17+ and the Spring Boot ecosystem.
Extensive experience with Spring Security for securing distributed applications.
Proven track record in designing and implementing microservices architectures.
Deep understanding of event-driven architecture and distributed system principles.
Hands-on technical proficiency with Apache Kafka and message brokers.
Strong experience in building and managing RESTful APIs.
Solid knowledge of database management using both SQL and NoSQL databases.
Practical experience with containerization technologies, specifically Docker.
Proficiency in container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding engineering teams and driving architecture decisions.
