Bridgeway Shipping is currently seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive to join our expanding team in Tanzania. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, building long-term client relationships, and promoting our comprehensive logistics and freight forwarding solutions across the region. You will be expected to identify new market opportunities, handle customer inquiries, and represent our brand with professionalism and excellence in a competitive logistics landscape. This role involves working closely with our operations team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. The work location for this position is primarily in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and we are specifically seeking local candidates who possess a deep understanding of the local market dynamics.
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding sales
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili
Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to build client rapport
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
Ability to work independently and manage a sales pipeline effectively
Deep understanding of the Tanzanian freight and shipping market
Valid driver's license for client visits
Ability to meet and exceed monthly sales targets
Strong problem-solving abilities within the logistics sector
