BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER – PLASTIC PACKAGING SOLUTIONS @ BRIDGE TALENT GROUP
Our client in the manufacturing sector is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Officer to drive growth in their plastic packaging business, with a strong focus on stackable crates and industrial packaging solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial professional passionate about sales growth, market expansion, and building long-term customer relationships within the packaging industry. The role involves identifying and developing new business opportunities while growing existing accounts through client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to close deals. The candidate will manage the sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance tracking while providing timely customer support and issue resolution. You will gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, and opportunities to achieve revenue, volume, and margin targets. Promotion of value-added solutions such as IML and stretch products is a key part of the responsibility. The salary offered for this position is KES 120,000.
Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
3–5 years’ experience in sales/business development within the plastic packaging industry.
Strong knowledge of industrial packaging solutions.
Exposure to stackable crates and returnable packaging.
Experience in IML and/or stretch solutions is an added advantage.
Strong sales and negotiation skills.
Excellent customer relationship management.
Strong commercial awareness and market insight.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Target-driven and results-oriented mindset.
