SURVEYOR @ BRIDGE GAP CONSULTS
A leading construction company based in Abuja is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Surveyor to join their technical team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate measurements, conducting comprehensive site surveys, and performing setting-out duties to ensure structural alignment with architectural designs. This role requires a professional who is proficient with modern surveying technology and possesses a deep understanding of land laws and construction site safety. As a Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting topographic, as-built, and boundary surveys, as well as interpreting complex structural and architectural drawings. You will work closely with site engineers and project managers to facilitate site coordination and ensure that all survey data is integrated into the project workflow effectively. The salary for this position is ₦450,000 – ₦600,000. The position provides an opportunity to work on significant infrastructure and building projects within Nigeria's capital.
Key Requirements
B.Sc/HND in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field
4–6 years construction surveying experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD, GIS, GPS, Total Station, and leveling equipment
Strong knowledge of setting out, site layout, topographic and as-built surveys
Ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings
Good understanding of construction processes, land laws, and site coordination
Experience working on building or infrastructure projects
Knowledge of HSE and construction site safety standards
SURCON registration or certification is an added advantage
Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
