BRAC Tanzania Finance Limited (BTFL), the largest microfinance organization in Tanzania, is seeking a competent and dynamic Communication Officer to enhance the company's public image. The role involves building strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, maintaining the integrity of organizational information, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that align with BRAC's mission of economic empowerment for women.
As a Communication Officer, you will be responsible for organizing corporate events, preparing high-quality reports, and creating compelling materials for donors and government bodies. You will also play a pivotal role in safeguarding, ensuring a secure working environment free from harassment and exploitation. This position requires a proactive individual capable of managing media relations and documenting impactful case studies to showcase the organization's progress and achievements.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Journalism, or Public Relations.
At least 3 years of work experience in journalism, communications, PR, or marketing.
Proven excellence in editing and writing skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong cognitive skills and professional judgment.
Effective negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in photography for organizational documentation.
Knowledge of safeguarding policies and implementation standards.
Ability to translate and compile case studies for diverse stakeholders.
