SENIOR OFFICER FINANCE & ACCOUNTS @ BRAC MAENDELEO TANZANIA
BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania (BMT) is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Officer Finance & Accounts to join their team at the Country Head Office in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. BRAC Maendeleo Tanzania has been actively working in the country since 2006, contributing to various development initiatives as part of the global BRAC International network. The Senior Officer Finance & Accounts will play a critical role in managing financial operations, ensuring compliance, and supporting the financial integrity of diverse development programs, including microfinance, agriculture, and women's empowerment initiatives.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing oversight on financial reporting, budget management, and internal controls within the Finance & Accounts department. Key Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Investment
CPA or ACCA certification is highly preferred
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in finance and accounting
Previous experience working with development organizations or NGOs
Demonstrated ability to manage finances for complex development programs
Proficiency in financial software and general computer literacy
Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to high standards of integrity and professional ethics
Proven leadership, management, and organizational skills
