Boxleocourier is seeking a dynamic Business Development Assistant to drive growth and expand our market presence in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. This pivotal role involves actively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, primarily through strategic networking, cold calling, and leveraging social media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for exploring new markets, effectively selling our services, and successfully closing deals to achieve ambitious sales targets.
Key responsibilities include cultivating and nurturing robust, enduring relationships with both prospective and existing clients. The role also demands the creation and delivery of compelling, customized proposals, pitches, and presentations designed to captivate potential clients. Furthermore, the Business Development Assistant will conduct in-depth market research to gain insights into customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities, which will inform and shape our strategic initiatives.
This position requires a proactive individual who can contribute significantly to our overall business plans, helping to set and achieve targets aimed at boosting company profitability and increasing market share. Collaboration is essential; the assistant will work closely with marketing teams to support campaigns and with technical/product teams to ensure that all customer needs are met with precision and excellence.

Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities
Sales and business development experience is an added advantage
Ability to work independently and achieve targets
Strong research, analytical, and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with CRM software
Goal-oriented and self-motivated
Ability to travel as required
