INTERNAL AUDITOR ACCOUNTANT @ BOXLEO COURIER
Boxleo Courier is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Internal Auditor Accountant to join our team in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring thorough documentation of all company financial activities. This role plays a critical part in our organizational integrity, requiring the performance of regular bank and ledger reconciliations to identify discrepancies.
In addition to operational accounting duties, the Internal Auditor Accountant will conduct periodic internal audits and assess adherence to company policies and internal controls. You will be tasked with preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports that directly support management in strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate must be vigilant in identifying financial risks, proposing corrective measures, and ensuring full compliance with Tanzanian tax and statutory requirements.

Key Requirements
Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting/internal audit experience
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
Good knowledge of financial reporting and reconciliation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Knowledge of Tanzania tax and statutory requirements
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of financial information
Strong integrity and professional ethics
