Boomering is seeking a dedicated HR Onboarding Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is central to our hiring process, focusing on the critical phase of candidate verification and onboarding. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough character and employment reference checks for all new hires, ensuring that every individual joining the company meets our high standards of integrity and professional background. You will play a vital role in maintaining the quality of our workforce by validating the accuracy and completeness of candidate information and identifying any potential risks to the organization through meticulous vetting.

As an HR Onboarding Associate, you will work closely with the recruitment team and the Chief People Officer (CPO) to manage the end-to-end background checking process. Your daily tasks will include interviewing references using approved scripts, analyzing responses for credibility, and escalating any red flags to management. Beyond verification tasks, you may also gain exposure to broader HR functions, including employee services, compensation and benefits administration, and company events management. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in HR compliance or recruitment operations to build a meaningful career in a fast-paced and professional environment.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or any related discipline. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in background checking, recruitment operations, or HR compliance (non-negotiable). Proven experience conducting character reference interviews and employment verification is required. Exposure to broader HR functions beyond background checking, such as employee services and administration. Ability to conduct character and employment reference checks for all hired candidates using approved scripts. Skill in validating the accuracy, completeness, and credibility of reference responses. Ability to identify inconsistencies, red flags, or risk indicators and escalate findings to the CPO. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for assessing candidate backgrounds. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for conducting interviews and reporting. Proficiency in HR software and administrative tools to manage documentation.
