OFFICER – CLEARING & FORWARDING @ BOL HR CONSULTANTS
BOL HR Consultants is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Officer for Clearing & Forwarding on behalf of our client. This full-time position is based in Dar es Salaam and is suited for a logistics professional with a proven track record in customs clearance and port operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for streamlining logistics operations and ensuring that all clearances are handled in a timely and compliant manner. The salary range for this position is TZS 1,500,000 – TZS 1,800,000 gross per month, depending on experience.
The role involves heavy interaction with the Tanzania Customs Integrated System (TANCIS) and various port authorities. You will be expected to manage all documentation related to shipping and regulatory compliance. Candidates must have a deep understanding of the local logistics landscape in Tanzania to effectively navigate the complexities of clearing and forwarding. This is a critical role that ensures the smooth flow of goods for our client's operations.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Clearing & Forwarding
Proven track record in handling customs clearance and documentation
In-depth knowledge of TANCIS (Tanzania Customs Integrated System)
Experience dealing with port authorities and regulatory bodies in Tanzania
Strong understanding of shipping procedures and international trade terms
Excellent problem-solving skills related to logistics bottlenecks
Ability to work under pressure to meet strict shipping deadlines
High level of accuracy in preparing and filing customs entries
Strong interpersonal skills for effective liaison with stakeholders
Comprehensive knowledge of Tanzanian import and export regulations
