BOL HR Consultants, on behalf of their client, is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented logistics professional to join a dynamic team in Dar es Salaam. The company is looking for a dedicated Documentation Officer to manage and streamline logistics operations, ensuring timely and compliant clearances. This full-time position requires a candidate with a strong background in customs and shipping procedures within Tanzania.
The ideal candidate will be instrumental in handling all aspects of customs clearance, detailed documentation, and efficient port operations. They will ensure strict adherence to regulatory compliance and leverage their deep understanding of the Tanzania Customs Integrated System (TANCIS) and port authority regulations to facilitate smooth trade processes.

Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Clearing & Forwarding, or a related field.
Proven track record of at least 3 years in handling customs clearance, documentation, port operations, and shipping procedures in Tanzania.
Strong understanding and practical experience with TANCIS (Tanzania Customs Integrated System).
In-depth knowledge of port authorities and regulatory compliance frameworks in Tanzania.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in managing complex documentation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address logistics challenges efficiently.
Proficiency in relevant computer software and systems for documentation and tracking.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
