STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER (2 POSITIONS) @ BLACKSEA PROJECT MANAGEMENT & WORKFORCE SOLUTION
The Structural Design Engineer will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and approving structural designs for the Tanzania Railway Project. You will collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity, safety, and functionality of all rail infrastructure components. This role requires extensive technical knowledge of structural mechanics and railway-specific design codes. The salary offered for this position is 7,910,580 Tshs/month for those with at least 5 years of experience, and 10,547,440 Tshs/month for those with 10+ years of experience.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of railway project experience
Fluent English (spoken & written)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
International project experience is an advantage
Advanced proficiency in structural design software
Knowledge of railway safety codes and regulations
Ability to perform site inspections and assessments
Experience with steel and concrete structures
Analytical mindset for problem-solving
Collaborative approach to design coordination
