CONTRACT ENGINEER (2 POSITIONS) @ BLACKSEA PROJECT MANAGEMENT & WORKFORCE SOLUTION
We are looking for a Contract Engineer to manage contractual obligations for our Railway Project in Tanzania. The individual in this role will oversee contract administration, dispute resolution, and ensure compliance with all legal and technical requirements stipulated in the project agreements. Working closely with the project management team, the Contract Engineer will mitigate risks and ensure that all stakeholders are aligned with contractual commitments. The salary offered for this position is 7,910,580 Tshs/month for those with at least 5 years of experience, and 10,547,440 Tshs/month for those with 10+ years of experience.
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of railway project experience
Fluent English (spoken & written)
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
International project experience is an advantage
Knowledge of FIDIC contracts
Ability to negotiate and manage vendor contracts
Strong understanding of construction law
Competence in document management systems
Excellent attention to detail
Proven ability to handle complex contractual disputes
