ASSISTANT PROJECT COORDINATOR @ BIZOONLINE AFRICA
Bizoonline Africa is seeking a dedicated Assistant Project Coordinator to join their team in Dar es Salaam. This role focuses on the financial and logistical oversight of construction projects, where the successful candidate will manage estimates, project costs, and valuations from inception to completion. The primary objective is to minimize project costs while maintaining high standards and enhancing value for money through meticulous calculations and efficient resource management.
The Assistant Project Coordinator will work closely with the Managing Director to measure sites, prepare Bills of Quantities, and monitor variations in additional works. This position requires a proactive individual who can interact with specialist subcontractors, raise subcontracts, and report on project progress. The role is vital for ensuring that all financial aspects of the projects are tracked accurately, including monthly valuations and cost-controlling measures to ensure profitability and adherence to organizational standards.

Key Requirements
Recent graduate in Quantity Surveying or related field
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Proficiency in measurements of sites to prepare Bills of Quantities
Experience in building estimates based on design and constructability
Understanding of market labour and material price impacts
Ability to prepare quotations for additional works and variations
Skill in raising and monitoring specialist subcontracts
Familiarity with maintaining cost keys and price masters
Capability to prepare monthly project and subcontract valuations
