HUMAN RESOURCE / LEGAL OFFICER @ BHANJI TRANSPORT
Bhanji Transport, a prominent player in East Africa's transport and logistics industry, is seeking a versatile Human Resource / Legal Officer to join our team in Dodoma, Tanzania. This dual-role position is critical for managing both the human capital and legal compliance aspects of our growing organization.
The Human Resource / Legal Officer will be responsible for a wide array of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and policy development. Concurrently, you will handle legal matters such as ensuring compliance with labor laws, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing legal advice to the management. This role requires an individual with a strong understanding of both HR best practices and legal frameworks.

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, or a related field
Proven experience in both HR management and legal compliance, preferably in the transport sector
Strong understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and employment regulations
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to handle employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions
Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
Proficiency in drafting and reviewing legal documents and contracts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for compliance management
Ability to provide sound legal advice to management on various corporate matters
High level of integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
