PROJECT SUPERVISOR (1 POSITION) @ BGC BUCKREEF GOLD COMPANY
Buckreef Gold Company is seeking a dedicated Project Supervisor to join the team at our site in Rwamugasa, Katoro-Geita. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all construction projects on-site, ensuring they are completed within budget, on time, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This role involves significant field presence, overseeing earthwork activities, and enforcing strict safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment for all staff and subcontractors.
Key responsibilities include coordinating a diverse workforce, managing equipment and material procurement, and organizing work shifts. You will also be expected to liaise with clients and stakeholders while providing direct guidance and training to construction crews. As this is a rotation-based role (4 weeks on/2 weeks off) in a remote location, candidates must demonstrate resilience and strong leadership capabilities. The role is pivotal in bridging the gap between planning and execution on the ground, ensuring all civil and structural works align with the overall project strategy.

Key Requirements
Diploma or Veta Level III in Civil and Building or a related technical field.
A minimum of 3 years of professional experience specifically in civil and structures construction.
Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a construction or mining environment.
In-depth knowledge of earthwork activities and compliance with project specifications.
Strong familiarity with health and safety regulations (national and international standards) in the mining industry.
Proven ability to manage procurement, delivery of materials, and heavy equipment operations.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders.
Capability to organize work shifts and provide training and guidance to construction crews.
Experience in project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery within budget.
Physically fit and prepared to work in remote environments on a 4 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
