SYSTEMS TESTING/QA SPECIALIST - SENIOR @ BEVERTEC
The opportunity is for a Systems Testing/QA Specialist at a Senior level, specializing in quality assurance and system validation. This is offered as a 12-month contract position. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of critical systems through rigorous testing protocols. Candidates must demonstrate deep expertise in test planning, execution, and reporting within complex IT environments. This role requires immediate availability for the contract duration. The specialist is expected to manage the full testing lifecycle, including defining test strategies, creating detailed test cases, executing both manual and automated tests, and documenting defects. Collaboration with development teams and business stakeholders is essential to ensure delivered solutions meet specified requirements and organizational quality standards.
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Systems Testing/QA Specialist, preferably at a Senior level.
Expert knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Quality Assurance methodologies.
Demonstrated experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
Ability to design, develop, and execute complex test plans and test cases.
Strong understanding of SQL and database testing principles.
Experience with performance, load, and security testing.
Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify root causes of software defects.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills for interacting with cross-functional teams.
