HOUSEKEEPING SUPERVISOR @ BESTWESTERNDODOMA
BestWesternDodoma is seeking a professional and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and maintain high standards of cleanliness. The successful candidate will oversee daily housekeeping activities, ensuring that all guest rooms and public areas meet five-star standards of hygiene and presentation. You will be responsible for training and mentoring staff, managing schedules, and conducting rigorous quality inspections to ensure an exceptional guest experience in the heart of Dodoma. Additionally, the role involves monitoring cleaning supplies, maintaining inventory levels for linens and chemicals, and reporting maintenance issues promptly to the facilities department. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a background in hotel operations, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene standards. By maintaining the aesthetic and sanitary quality of the hotel, you will contribute significantly to the overall reputation of BestWesternDodoma and its commitment to guest satisfaction.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in housekeeping supervision within a hotel environment.
Certificate or diploma in Hospitality Management.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Proficiency in English and Swahili (both written and spoken).
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Knowledge of housekeeping operations and cleaning procedures.
Ability to manage and resolve guest complaints regarding room cleanliness.
Proficiency in using property management software or digital scheduling tools.
Strong physical stamina to conduct inspections across a large facility.
