RIG MECHANIC @ BENEDETTO GLOBAL
We are seeking an experienced Rig Mechanic to join our offshore operations in Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment used in offshore jack-up drilling operations. You will focus specifically on hydraulics and pneumatics systems, ensuring that all mechanical components are functioning efficiently and safely to support continuous drilling activities for major International Oil Company (IOC) projects. This position requires working in a demanding offshore environment as part of a specialized technical team.

Key Requirements
Strong mechanical maintenance expertise specifically for drilling equipment.
Valid offshore certification (BOSIET or equivalent).
Hands-on experience with high-pressure hydraulic systems.
Proficiency in troubleshooting pneumatic control systems.
Previous experience in Offshore Jack-Up Drilling Operations.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical and technical drawings.
Knowledge of safety standards for major International Oil Companies (IOCs).
Physical fitness to work in a demanding offshore environment.
Ability to perform preventative maintenance on diesel engines and pumps.
Valid medical certificate for offshore work.
