The Chief Mechanic role is a critical leadership position within our offshore drilling team in Nigeria. You will oversee all mechanical maintenance and repair activities on an offshore jack-up rig, ensuring that the team follows best practices and safety protocols. Your primary responsibility will be the high-level management of hydraulics, pneumatics, and heavy machinery, ensuring that the rig's operational capacity is maintained to support major IOC operations. You will also be responsible for coordinating with other departments to plan maintenance windows and manage inventory for spare parts.

Key Requirements
Extensive mechanical maintenance expertise at a senior or lead level.
Valid offshore certification and necessary survival training.
Expert-level hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics.
Proven experience in leading teams on Offshore Jack-Up Drilling rigs.
Demonstrated success in supporting major IOC offshore operations.
Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex drilling machinery.
Ability to develop and manage preventative maintenance programs.
Excellent leadership and communication skills for team management.
Knowledge of international maritime and drilling safety regulations.
Valid offshore medical fitness certificate.
