STORE MANAGER @ BAWE ISLAND ZANZIBAR
Bawe Island Zanzibar is a luxury 5-star resort surrounded by the sea in Africa, located just 15 minutes from Stone Town in Zanzibar. We are looking for an experienced Store Manager to join our Finance Department and oversee the procurement, storage, and distribution of goods within the resort. This position is open to foreign candidates, with a preference for those of Kenyan nationality, who possess strong logistics and inventory management skills.
The Store Manager will play a vital role in maintaining the resort's supply chain, ensuring that all departments have the necessary materials while minimizing waste and controlling costs. You will be expected to implement efficient inventory tracking systems and conduct regular audits of stock levels. The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-end hospitality setting and be able to manage the complexities of island logistics.

Key Requirements
Minimum of two years’ experience in a store management or inventory role.
Foreign nationality, preferably Kenyan.
Proven expertise in inventory control and warehouse management.
Familiarity with procurement processes in the luxury hospitality industry.
Strong analytical skills for monitoring stock levels and forecasting needs.
Ability to lead and supervise a team of store staff.
High level of integrity and transparency in handling resort assets.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to storage.
Proficiency in inventory management software and documentation.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
