AREA DIRECTOR OF MARKETING @ BARON HOTELS & RESORTS
Baron Hotels & Resorts is seeking an experienced and visionary Area Director of Marketing to lead the group marketing function for our upcoming Baron Zanzibar property. This is a group-level leadership role specifically designed for a senior marketing professional with a proven track record in the luxury hospitality sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing group-wide marketing strategies, driving brand positioning, and enhancing the company's reputation across key international source markets. You will lead digital marketing initiatives, social media campaigns, and content strategies while managing PR and media relations at the group level. Collaboration with Sales and Revenue teams is essential to align commercial objectives and ensure the overall success of the brand. Additionally, the role involves overseeing the pre-opening marketing plans for our expanding portfolio of upcoming luxury properties in the region.
Key Requirements
5–10+ years of marketing experience in luxury hospitality
Proven experience at an area or multi-property level
Strong command of digital marketing and brand strategy
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills
Ability to develop and execute group-wide marketing strategies
Experience in driving brand positioning and reputation in key source markets
Proficiency in leading social media and content strategy
Track record in managing PR, media relations, and partnerships
Ability to collaborate with Sales and Revenue teams to align commercial objectives
Experience overseeing pre-opening marketing plans for upcoming properties
